One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories is our yearly tradition of ” I am Thankful For You”.
It began over 15 years ago, when I took a few pieces of construction paper and began cutting out large shaped leaves. I then would hand write on them “I am Thankful for you……” I would then have each family member fill out one for each member of the family. Sharing what they were Thankful for about that person. We would then read them during our Thanksgiving meal. Just watching the grins on my children’s faces as these words of life were read to them made it all worth the time it took to create these cut out leaves.
